Have you noticed that the little green dragon resembles The Grinch a bit?
He certainly seems to have a sour attitude about the new year for sure.
Though it could simply be that he's still ticked off about not being invited to the Book Release Party for The Green Lamp, he appears to be obsessed with the whole "Mayan Calendar" thing.
